Activities of the Lunar Reclamation Society (NSS-Milwaukee) - 2004 - April 22, 2005

In 2003, LRS met on the 2nd Saturday afternoon every month except July (when we went on a field trip - see below) and August.

Our "You can fly on Mars!" Outreach event at Mitchell International Airport's Aviation Career Days was canceled due to construction in the airport terminal.

We were unable to attend the annual Rockets for Schools event in Sheboygan on the 3rd weekend of May due to a schedule conflict. Peter did, however, attend the ISDC in Oklahoma City

June 14th, Peter manned our exhibit table at Discovery World Museum for Tech Trek Monday

July 10th, Peter manned our exhibit table at Discovery World Museum for Secret Lab Saturday.

August 14th, Peter manned our exhibit table at Discovery World Museum for Secret Lab Saturday for the 3rd time this summer, improving the exhibit items each time. This time he got to take a Seguay for a test drive.

Monthly Meeting: We filled two vacant officer positions. Doug Armstrong is now LRS' Vice-President. This optional office has been vacant for years. The bylaws allow combining the duties of Secretary and Treasurer, and Bob Bialecki has been doing both for some time. James Schroeter is now LRS' Secretary, reducing Bob's burdens. Our thanks to all our officers, present and past for all their hard work and efforts!

AGENDA: POTLUCK; 2 pm DVD Documentary - "Gaia-Selene" in which Peter had a few minutes, having been filmed in the Spring at the Mitchell Park horticultural domes.. 12 people attended
